Kill all the Covenant here and then drop down to the first floor of the room. Now you are in a large room on the second floor balcony and Cortana tells you the lock to the door your Marines are behind must be in this room. Go through and head right then up to your left and right again. Head back up the ramp and find the other open door from the room you started in (it will be the first door on the right as you come back).
Here is where you part ways with your Marines. Cortana tells you that you can take the side passages to find a way around. I suggest tossing in a grenade as the doors open to hopefully kill one or two and make it easier to take out the rest.Īfter several waves of this a side door will open but it is blocked at the bottom. One swipe from this and you are dead, end of story so take him out as quick as you can then eliminate the rest as they come through the various doors here. First pack includes an Elite that is cloaked and has an Energy Sword. Upon arriving in the enemy ship you are informed that there is no Covenant presence here but we all know that can't be right as even your Marine partners mention. You and the Marines will be transported into the Covenant ship the Truth and Reconciliation. Once they are down go to the middle of the platform. This is their tender spot and it should only take a few hits here to take them down depending on the level of difficulty you are playing and the type of weapon you are using.
The key to their death is shooting them in the back just below the bottom of the backplate of their armor. Once you have the music will change, this is your cue that the Hunters are coming. Once everyone is dead you'll get a Covenant dropship and several waves will transport down onto the platform here. I suggest taking out the gunners first then focusing on the rest. Once you get to the other side, there are more enemies and several stationary guns. Either way, head through the gap and follow the path killing as you go. I suggest you either use it now as you head up the path (there are several Eites here that can be tough) or a little later when fighting the Hunters in the next area. Once they are all dead move to the area where you see the glowing blue item. The enemy troops drop at the top of the left path you took. Cortana will warn you that Covenant dropships are coming so be prepared. Keep killing enemies and move to meet up with the Marines again. Once you proceed far enough, Cortana will tell the Marines to take the path up the middle while you cover the left. Carefully creep up and snipe the stationary gunner and the Elite (you have to move up a little to see him on the ridge)before taking the left path anyway. Cortana gives tells you the path up on the left should let you sneak around.
